This will always occur during the design of your blog...
The blogspot platform itself has design proper way in creating your blog.
One common mistake to a designer or blogger is that of the images they inserted in the template. The pictures itself download from internet or other devices and pasted like for example in MS documents or other word processor and then the designer directly copies those pictures and pasted directly to the window for composing new blog or post. Once you update or save this, it surely shows the "An error occured while trying to save or publish your post. Please try again. Dismiss".....
after you click that button, they should open a window and you should see like in the picture below:
You have to choose the destination of the file in where it is located and then click it and press the ADD SELECTED button.
Another problem is the TEXT that you have copied from other source that has already format and you directly paste it in the COMPOSE window...like what you did in pasting picture will commonly shows the error.
One way to solve this is that, the series of text, paragraphs or sentences you pasted must be highlighted first and then click the FORMATTING TOOLS in the tool with capital "T" and small "x" beside it. The function of this is to clear or the formats in to simple text..see the picture below:
after you have done it! click UPDATE or SAVE.... then you have done it with no errors at all!!
